WWE has announced that Cedric Alexander received a United States Championship opportunity based off a pinfall victory over AJ Styles.

This contest will take place on next week’s episode of Raw, which will mark the season premiere.

Styles took to his official Twitter account to react to the news: 

“New season of #Raw but the same mother-lovin’, phenomenal-forearm-deliverin’, Styles-clashin’, US-CHAMPIN’ A. J. STYLES.”
