As we previously reported here on eWn, Alex Hammerstone had requested his release from Major League Wrestling (MLW), but the company refused to grant him his release.
Hammerstone has now confirmed the report i.e. he indeed requested his release from MLW. The former MLW World Champion tweeted,
“My time with @MLW was 5 of the best years of my life and career. Very proud of what I and the company accomplished. I wish them continued success.
I have recently asked for my release as I feel it’s what’s right for me at this time.
Thank you @courtbauer for the opportunities.”
While Hammerstone is still under contract with MLW, he has been removed from the website’s roster page.
