Austin Theory is still your United States Champion after defeating Bobby Lashley and Bronson Reed at Saturday night’s WWE Backlash 2023 pay-per-view event.
The finish of the match came when Reed went for a moonsault from the top rope, but Theory moved out of the way and Lashley hit Reed with a spear. As Lashley was about to go for the pin, Theory threw him out of the ring and pinned Reed to steal the win.
Theory’s United States Championship reign currently stands at 161 days.
