Backstage News On Jaxson Ryker’s WWE Future

As seen on Friday’s SmackDown, Wesley Blake and Steve Cutler, former members of the stable The Forgotten Sons, returned to TV, but without Jaxson Ryker, the third member of the stable.

They accompanied King Baron Corbin to the ring for his match against Murphy.

Ryker continues to be missing from WWE TV. Dave Meltzer noted on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that “there’s a reason Ryker wasn’t there” on SmackDown and why Blake and Culter have been gone from TV. It all goes back to the heat they got for being associated with Ryker after his tweet supporting U.S. President Donald Trump

Ryker also made Black Lives Matter comments in July of last year. Here’s the post:

“Pretty touchy subject but all this black lives mater garbage baffles me. I challenge anyone of any color or race to go watch 12 years a slave, the movie and realize how good you all actually have it. Learn heritage. Christ, Ghandi, Budda; they all Taught love and caring for others. This is getting out of hand. I Pray for this nation daily.”

Meltzer assumed that “WWE hasn’t gotten around to cutting him yet,” but the belief is that he’ll be gone when the next rounds of cuts happen.

Meltzer added that WWE might not be in a hurry to release Ryker since they don’t pay him much.
