Backstage News on the Attendance for WWE’s Live Events in Tokyo, Japan

WWE’s live events last week at Sumo Hall in Tokyo, Japan drew 6,724 fans and 7,520 fans. During the first night, Seth Rollins vs. Shinsuke Nakamura was the main event, while the main event of night two was Rollins, AJ Styles and Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley. Both events did not sell out.

With that being said, the second night’s attendance was close to NJPW’s Best of the Super Juniors on June 5th. That event had 7,650 paid. The NJPW event featured Jon Moxley’s NJPW debut.

In comparison to the last WWE live events at Sumo Hall, they drew 7,081 and 8,329. So this year’s numbers were slightly lower.
