According to a report from The Wrestling Observer, there has been a lot of talk backstage regarding the rumored issues between Vince McMahon and Triple H. While that talk has reportedly increased since Shane McMahon returned on RAW several weeks ago, the talk may be legitimate or exaggerated. The article notes that the belief is that if Shane returns to the company in an executive role, Vince may try to play Shane against Triple H and Stephanie.
As far as the plans for the McMahon Family storyline going into WrestleMania are concerned, they have reportedly changed within the past several days. The opening RAW segment was changed just moments before the show started. The original script didn’t ignore Stephanie McMahon’s promo from the previous week and original plans called for Shane to respond to those comments, noting that if Stephanie and Triple H didn’t quit WWE when he beats The Undertaker, he’ll “fire them both” on RAW the night after WrestleMania.
In other Shane McMahon news, he reportedly got “lost” during the promo in Chicago. He also got “lost” during his return promo but Vince covered it well and it wasn’t noticeable to the audience or many fans watching on television.
