More details have come out regarding the injury that AEW Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa is working through.
Pwinsider reported that Rosa is dealing with a disc issue in her back. This has been a problem she has been trying to work through lately. There’s no timeframe for her return.
At All Out, AEW will crown an Interim Women’s Champion with former champions Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida, Toni Storm, and Jamie Hayter competing in a four-way.
Rosa tweeted out thanks to her fans and the wrestling community on Thursday:
“I want to take a moment to acknowledge and thank the #ThunderArmy and the Wrestling Community for the outpour of support and well wishes after my announcement on #AEWDynamite. I will heal and come back soon; your still @AEW Women’s World Champion.”
