Bad News Barrett is said to be about four-to-six weeks away from making his
return to WWE. He started lifting weights recently, but is said to still not
have his normal size back. Barrett is hoping to get cleared by doctors in the
next three weeks, where he is planning on heading to the WWE Performance Center
in Orlando, Florida to work off any ring rust.
Barrett was originally hoping to be put into a program with Dolph Ziggler for
the WWE Intercontinental Championship upon his WWE return, as he feels it is a
natural storyline since he had the title when he went down with an injury. Now
that Ziggler is no longer the I-C champion, there’s no word yet as to whether or
not Barrett will still be put back into that picture when he does eventually
return to the company.
