Despite announcing and having a contract signing for a unification match at WrestleMania: Backlash between RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, the match didn’t take place.
Instead, WWE changed it to a six-man tag team match where Roman Reigns & The Usos beat Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton & Riddle.
Orton and Riddle noted in a promo on Monday’s RAW that they still want the title unification bout with The Usos and they will be heading to SmackDown this week to call them out.
Dave Meltzer noted on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE still plans on doing the bout, but does not plan on unifying the titles. It’s unclear when this non-title bout will take place.
