We can now confirm that New Japan Pro Wrestling Superstars AJ Styles, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson and Shinsuke Nakamura have not signed WWE contracts as of this writing. One source noted that “none of the four have signed anything.”. It is confirmed that WWE is interested in signing all four men but no “pen to paper” has taken place as of this writing. Also, the four talents would need to pass all of WWE’s medical testing before they are signed to contracts.

WWE has been in contact with both AJ Styles and Doc Gallows over the last several weeks. Nakamura said during a recent interview that he’s planning to leave NJPW when his contract expires at the end of this month. With both Nakamura and Anderson still under contract with New Japan, they are not even legally allowed to negotiate with WWE. That’s not to say there haven’t been talks but they cant say anything about it even if there were talks ongoing “under the radar”.

As far as the WWE.com article teasing the potential of the four Superstars coming to WWE is concerned, Triple H is said to be the one who approved it. WWE did this to capitalize on traffic from the rumors of The Bullet Club members likely signing with WWE.
