According to sources, the Samoa Joe vs. Brock Lesnar match is scheduled to be a “one off” match. Joe vs. Lesnar is set to headline the WWE Great Balls of Fire PPV. From there, nothing has really changed, as Lesnar is scheduled to face Braun Strowman at SummerSlam in August.
WWE also plans to do Finn Balor vs. Lesnar and Seth Rollins vs. Lesnar as they build to Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34.
According to sources, Lana was supposed to be a heel on the SmackDown! brand, but following the reaction she got on her debut this week, she will likely end up being a babyface going forward. Lana will basically filling the role that was originally slotted for Eva Marie.
Lana faces Naomi for the SmackDown! women’s title at the Money in the Bank PPV. As previously reported here on the website, WWE has confirmed in their Money in the Bank preview that Lana’s match against Naomi at the pay-per-view will be her SmackDown! in-ring debut, meaning that she won’t wrestle this coming week as some anticipated.
