Bayley is getting closer to making her return to WWE television and has now teased returning to NXT.
As previously reported here on eWn, she was seen at the WWE Performance Center for several days last week. This usually indicates that she’s back training in the ring, and her return is coming shortly. Dave Meltzer reported that Bayley would be back in action “somewhat soon.”
WWE has announced a 20-woman Battle Royal for next week’s episode of NXT, with the winner set to be the next challenger for Mandy Rose’s NXT Women’s Championship.
When Rose asked who would step up in the match on Twitter, Bayley responded with,
“Idk maybs some1 u wouldn’t expect wat u think.”
Bayley previously stated on Twitter that Cora Jade ‘broke her heart’ after costing Roxanne Perez the win in her match against Rose on Tuesday’s NXT.
It has been over a year since Bayley was last on WWE television after tearing her ACL.
