As seen during this week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Becky Lynch made her return and it was announced that she’ll be facing Bianca Belair in the near future to defend her Women’s Title. As many of you know, Lynch defeated Belair at SummerSlam in 26 seconds to capture the title.
Lynch came out and turned heel, saying she wasn’t apologizing for anything. She noted that she took advantage of the timing and won the title. Belair then came out and said she wasn’t going to make any excuses, but wanted a rematch.
Zelina Vega, Carmella, and Liv Morgan then all came out and revealed why they should get the next title shot. Lynch wound up leaving the ring without accepting any challenge. This then led to Belair defeating Vega, Carmella, and Morgan in a Fatal Four-Way match to earn the next opportunity at Becky Lynch and her title.
For what it’s worth, the Nationwide Arena is advertising Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair for Extreme Rules so that’s likely when the match will be taking place.
