During the latest edition of his “Hall Of Fame” podcast, Booker T addressed a range of topics, including potential challengers for the Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER at WrestleMania 40.
It is a fair assumption that if GUNTHER does happen to lose the IC title before WrestleMania 40 next year, he’ll likely be in an even stronger position on the card, perhaps challenging for a World title. Nevertheless, should he remain the Intercontinental Champion by the time WrestleMania comes around, Booker T believes it is a no-brainer to slot LA Knight against The Ring General. He said,
“GUNTHER, you, that dude, you’re going to. You’re going to hate him. LA Knight. So the match was made in heaven. You know what I mean? But that’s the one guy I see right now that’s got the spark behind him, the zeal behind it. To step into that spot. I’m not booking anything. It was as if it was a guy that was. That would be the guy. That’s it.”
