Those who watched ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair’s final match last weekend would remember the point during the match where Flair faked a heart attack. While this was an obvious ploy on the part of Flair, many were disturbed by the moment and wondered if Flair was in real trouble.
One person who found the moment deeply unsettling was two-time WWE Hall of Famer Booker T.
During his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker discussed his true feelings regarding the spot and said it may’ve scared many people watching live.
“That wasn’t a great moment, that wasn’t the greatest moment in the world. A man faking a heart attack to poke somebody in the eye? It was a good spot, okay, but a lot of people in that d*mn arena perhaps were scared as hell.”
Despite being busted open and out of gas afterward, Flair somehow managed to make it through the match. He’d later celebrate with Kid Rock.
