Britt Baker has shared an update on Adam Cole’s injury status.
Cole has been dealing with a torn labrum injury since Double or Nothing in May, but did return to the ring at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door for the IWGP World Title four-way bout where he suffered a concussion that was believed to be ‘very serious‘.
While speaking with Sportskeeda, Baker stated that Cole is recovering:
“Well, he’s definitely recovering and healing, so I hope just like everybody else, that we get to see him back in the wrestling ring soon, but he definitely has to take some time to recover.”
A number of top AEW names are currently on the shelf with injuries, including AEW World Champion CM Punk, Bryan Danielson, and more.
