On July 31, Ric Flair will team with Andrade El Idolo to take on Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett for what is being billed as his last match.
The WWE Hall of Famer has been training for months but confirmed during an appearance on Busted Open Radio that he is dealing with a minor injury.
“I have plantar fasciitis in the bottom of my foot. Other than that, I am perfect. That damn thing is sore as sh*t. I’m at the doctor right now. They are gonna start injecting me with stuff,” he said.
Flair will be teaming with his son-in-law Andrade in the match, which has led fans to wonder whether his daughter Charlotte will be at the event. Flair confirmed that she will be there as well as fellow WWE Superstars Apollo Crews, Rey Mysterio, and Pat McAfee.
Charlotte hasn’t been featured on WWE television since losing to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania: Backlash earlier this year.
