Kenny Omega is getting closer to making a return to AEW TV.
As previously reported by Dave Meltzer, the Young Bucks vs. FTR III match is being held off because the Young Bucks have a “major angle” that has yet to come to fruition.
Fightful Select reports the angle being referred to by Meltzer involves Omega.
“Fightful Select has learned that the tentative plans that certain staff was made aware of was that Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks were slated for a 6-man tag program for September’s All Out PPV.”
Omega, who has been away since dropping the AEW World Championship to Hangman Page at November’s Full Gear pay-per-view event, has been able to train well for months and has been pushing himself harder each week.
