WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray hopes to see a new World Heavyweight Champion crowned in Finn Balor at SummerSlam.
At the August 5 pay-per-view event, Balor will challenge Seth Rollins in a rematch from their WWE Money in the Bank encounter earlier this month.
On a recent edition of “Busted Open Radio,” Bully Ray shared his support for the Judgment Day member. He said,
“Who wins this match, Finn or Seth? I hope it’s Finn because the internal story of Finn and [Damian] Priest intrigues me, and Dominik and Rhea trying to have to keep them at bay.”
Bully Ray added that Rollins’ reign as World Heavyweight Champion has run its course, and hasn’t delivered what fans expected. He said,
“He’s not the workhorse guy that they made us believe he was going to be. I know it’s still brand new, I get it.”
If Balor wins the gold, the big question will be about the loyalty of Damian Priest, who captured the Men’s Money in the Bank briefcase in London earlier this month.
