It was reported by talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy that there was an edict sent by the USA Network to WWE after last Monday’s record low rating for Raw.
It was stated that the network was furious about the decline in ratings for the show and wanted more dark and violent content.
Dave Meltzer said the following on F4Wonline’s message board in regards to the story:
“According to people who would know this is not true. While they are disappointed in ratings and do make suggestions, those were not the direction they have suggested.”
