Cody Rhodes has come a long way from the days when he was ‘Dashing’ but his current theme song contains a nod to his previous gimmick.
Rhodes returned to WWE in April of last year with the theme song ‘Kingdom’ by Downstait, which he also used during his time away from the company.
When asked if the “WHOA” in the theme is a nod to the opening to Rhodes’ ‘Dashing’ theme song, Downstait confirmed that this is the case.

Rhodes will face Brock Lesnar at WWE Backlash on May 6, in the first WWE Premium Live Event from Puerto Rico since January 2005.
