AEW Superstar Eddie Kingston was scheduled to wrestle Schaff in a street fight match at DEFY’s “Dark Horse” event this past weekend, but missed the show due to having been in contact with a person who was positive for COVID-19.
The “Mad King” explained this on Twitter, and promised that he will be in DEFY as soon as possible in 2022. He was replaced by No Way, formerly known as No Way Jose in WWE.
Below you can see the Twitter announcement made by Kingston.
So @defyNW I was exposed to someone who tested positive for covid, so I didn't want to take any risk until I got cleared and I am. I promise to get to Seattle 2022.
