“Fickle” wrestling fans could grow tired of the changes Triple H has made to WWE, claims former Superstar Shane Thorne.
Since being appointed Head of Creative and Head of Talent Relations, Triple H has implemented several changes, including bringing back released talent.
The Game has also rescinded on some of WWE’s banned terms, with ‘hospital’ and ‘wrestler’ now being used on TV again.
These changes have been welcomed by WWE fans who are enjoying the post-Vince McMahon era of the company.
Speaking with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Thorne discussed Triple H taking over creative.
“I don’t know, we’ll see [about changing fan reaction],” said Thorne. “Because RAW and SmackDown used to be different but it is a burnout process. It depends on how long they can keep it up for.
“Who says in a year or two that we don’t get sick of this formula and people say ‘it’s too much change, I can’t keep up with it’. People are fickle, as they say.”
Thorne was released from WWE last November and spent his main roster run as Slapjack of RETRIBUTION.
