– Anthem Sports and Entertainment Vice President Ed Nordholm was asked on Twitter about the possibility of purchasing Lucha Underground if their fourth season didn’t happen. Nordholm stated that he believes the ‘rumors’ about Lucha Underground are as valid as the rumors going around about Global Force Wrestling’s (GFW) status. Nordholm is referring to a recent Sports Illustrated report suggesting that GFW is “hemorrhaging funds.”
Nordholm continued on by claiming he’d be thrilled to have Lucha as a partner in their Global Wrestling Network. Impact Wrestling’s Twitter account retweeted Nordholm’s responses. Check them out here:
