Liv Morgan was taken into custody on Thursday in Sumter County, Florida, after being pulled over during a traffic stop. The police discovered that she had marijuana (less than 20 grams) and potentially synthetic cannabinoids, in her possession.
The sheriff’s deputy stated that Morgan was stopped because her vehicle had crossed the white and yellow lines on a County Road. During the stop, the deputy detected the smell of marijuana and found a “small plastic bag containing marijuana” as well as a vape pen with an “oil-like substance,” which was later confirmed to be marijuana.
Morgan has since been released on $3,000 bond. In Florida, it is legal to purchase marijuana with a prescription.
According to a report from Fightful Select, there is no heat on Morgan within WWE following her arrest. It is worth mentioning that although marijuana is included in the Wellness Policy, WWE has not conducted tests for it in recent years.
A WWE staff member said, “Liv has not been on TV, did not alter creative plans, and was honest about the situation. There are no issues with her whatsoever.”
A top wrestler said, “Everybody liked Liv before, everybody still likes Liv. We’ll get our jokes off, and she’ll get hers off, and nobody will be thinking about it soon enough.”
