IYO SKY successfully defended the WWE Women’s Championship against Asuka on Friday’s edition of WWE SmackDown.
SKY scored the victory after Bayley distracted Asuka, which allowed the champion to hit a Meteora and a moonsault for the pinfall.
SKY has been champion for 49 days now, having won the Women’s Title from Bianca Belair at SummerSlam 2023.
Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn believe that the “curse” on the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship is their doing.
Fyre and Dawn appeared in a vignette on Friday Night SmackDown, marking their first appearance since losing the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships to Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey.
The witchy duo discussed the various misfortunes that have befallen those who hold the “cursed” titles.
