WWE is changing its programming from a PG product in favor of a TV-14 rating.
Both RAW and SmackDown are listed as TV-14 on Hulu, and the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event is listed with the same rating on Peacock.
Speaking on his ‘Grilling JR’ podcast, Jim Ross gave his thoughts on the change:
“The more people that watch Raw or SmackDown, believe it or not, helps AEW. Generating interest in pro wrestling, on any platform — what’s that old saying about high tides, all ships? I think that’s where we are here in this scenario. I hope it does well for them.”
