John Cena has taken to his Instagram page to make a Money in the Bank reference less than two hours before the pay-per-view is set to start. The image, which you can see below seemingly indicates Cena has no “money in the bank.”
However, like fellow wrestler Becky Lynch who also teased a return at Money in the Bank, Cena is known to use his social media to troll fans.
It should also be noted that Cena’s return has been rumored for some time now, with fresh reports emerging every week indicating his return should be expected any day now. But, will it be today? Cena is expected to enter a feud with current Universal Champion Roman Reigns upon his return to the company.
John Cena has not made an appearance on a WWE show since WrestleMania 36, where he was defeated by “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Fun House Match.
