Impact Wrestling’s Kimber Lee has said any negativity from fans is worth it if she can help even just one person.

Earlier this year, Nash Carter was released from WWE NXT following accusations of domestic abuse made by Lee, his wife at the time.

While WWE reportedly did not find these claims credible, the decision was made after Lee shared an image of Carter imitating Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.

Lee has been accused of faking her claims against Carter, with the hashtag #JusticeForNashCarter being used on social media.

Speaking to NBC Sports correspondent Steve Fall, Lee explained why she feels it is important she made her accusations.

“A lot of it is following me right now because it’s people who have no idea what the situation is. And that’s okay, but people don’t realize that they don’t need to speak on things that they don’t know.

“The reason I share so much is because if my story can help somebody not get abused the way I was, not get manipulated the way I was, then it’s worth it. It’s worth all the hate that I have to get put through if I can help one person.”

Lee added that neither of them was perfect in the relationship and that she was dealing with substance abuse problems at the time. She adds:

“Unfortunately, there was physical abuse involved, and getting away from that is difficult and I did and people don’t want to believe me and that sucks.

“They weren’t there and that’s the end of the story. You weren’t there, you don’t know what legal matters are happening right now and I’m just fortunate that I survived.”
