As we’ve been reporting here on eWn, at least two AEW wrestlers were on the receiving end of some fines following their conduct on social media. As you’d expect, many people immediately pointed fingers at Saraya and Santana due to how they often act on Twitter.
According to a report from Fightful Select, neither Saraya or Santana were fined under AEW’s new social media policy.
While there was some speculation about Santana being fined after he posted and then deleted a post that read “6 weeks” on December 7 to indicate frustration for the wrestler noting the last time he appeared on AEW programming, he wasn’t fined. Santana later played into the fine rumors by writing, “Fined me? Yea. Ok. 😂😂😂😂😂😂”
Additionally, an account by the name of “IWrestleVerse” speculated that the new social media policy is the reason why Saraya hasn’t been active on social media as of late. Saraya has since responded, writing,
“I took a long social media break. Not because anyone told me not to haha. Ain’t no one telling s*** about my twitter I can do what I want 🫶🏻”
Fined me?
Yea. Ok. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
