A new report from PWInsider has seemingly confirmed that WWE will be looking to host Survivor Series 2021 at the Barclays Centre.

The report states that WWE and staff at the Barclays are currently in the process of trying to lock down a date for Survivor Series. This comes after Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast reported that WWE had intentions to turn Survivor Series into a “major show” again, whilst also making the initial report that WWE would be aiming to host the event from the Barclays Centre.

Alongside this, the site also confirmed that the WWE would be looking to host shows at other New York venues, namely Madison Square Garden. The Garden, which is seen by many as the spiritual home of WWE has long since hosted shows from the promotion, and it seems that it will only be a matter of time before the company returns again.

As aforementioned WWE reportedly have “major plans” for Survivor Series, these include the return of The Rock to the company.

This report of course has broken the day after AEW announced their first stadium show, which will also air from New York. You can read more about that here.
