A New Report Claims WWE Is Planning A Women’s Royal Rumble Match

A report last week from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer claimed that there were no plans for an all women’s Royal Rumble match. There was a lot of speculation last week with the call-ups of Ruby Riot, Mandy Rose, Sarah Logan, Sonya Deville and Liv Morgan that the company was planning a women’s Royal Rumble. Now, The UK Sun is reporting that WWE is preparing to announce an all-female ‘Rumble soon.

According to The Sun report, the women’s version of the Royal Rumble would not have staggered entry like the men’s version, with a new entrant coming out after an allotted amount of time.

Take this news as only a rumor for now as it remains to be seen which report will turn out to be accurate.

WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view takes place on January 28th, 2018 from The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
