Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar III took place at the WWE SummerSlam 2023 pay-per-view event on Saturday night. Each star held a win over each other going into the bout.
There had been rumors that there would’ve been a stipulation, but it was reported ahead of the match that there was never a stipulation pitched or considered heavily.
Lesnar lost to Rhodes in the singles match when Cody hit multiple Cross Rhodes for the win.
Bryan Alvarez and Dave Meltzer mentioned that Lesnar is not taking a long hiatus from WWE as the Beast Incarnate is booked for WWE Fastlane on October 7th.
