Possible **SPOILERS** – Updates On Drew McIntyre’s Injury, Elimination Chamber Winner

During the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, many notes about the potential winner of the Elimination Chamber and Drew McIntyre’s next plans were discussed.

The current plan for WrestleMania 38’s main event is to have Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns face off in a title vs. title match, which would see Lesnar winning the Elimination Chamber on February 19th to quickly win back the WWE Championship.

The feeling is that having both titles on the line would “add stakes” to the bout, and both Lesnar and Paul Heyman are said to be pushing heavily for it. It was also noted that what we are seeing now is possibly a new version of the initial plans, which were altered by Roman Reigns not being able to perform at Day 1 and changed to Brock Lesnar being put in the WWE Championship picture.

Drew McIntyre is still injured, but the report says that The Scottish Warrior got himself cleared and will not work house shows as well as wrestle rarely while continuing his rehab in order to still be at WrestleMania 38 in some capacity. The idea for now is to continue the feud with Happy Corbin.
