WWE sent out the following to preview today’s NXT UK episode:

Kay Lee Ray to defend NXT UK Women’s Championship against Meiko Satomura Thursday on NXT UK

Kay Lee Ray said she wanted to face the best in the world. Now she’s getting “The Final Boss.”

The longest-reigning NXT UK Women’s Champion in history will defend her title against the legendary Meiko Satomura Thursday on NXT UK at 3 ET/8 GMT on the award-winning WWE Network.

Challenger after challenger has failed to knock The Scary Queen of Scots from her throne, leading even Ray herself to crave better competition.

She’s getting exactly that with this matchup against the Joshi legend, who figures to represent the greatest threat against KLR’s year-and-a-half-long reign.

Satomura, who dismantled Isla Dawn in her NXT UK debut, has vowed to teach her opponent the “meaning of a true champion.”

Meanwhile, with the longest women’s title reign in WWE’s modern era, Kay Lee Ray has already declared herself NXT UK’s “forever champion.”

Will “The Final Boss” prove KLR wrong?

Dragunov and Gradwell to renew hostilities in wild brawl

In addition to the titanic title clash between NXT UK Women’s Champion Kay Lee Ray and Meiko Satomura, NXT UK will also play host to what seems certain to be a slugfest between Ilja Dragunov and Sam Gradwell, a tag team bout pitting Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter against Kenny Williams and Amir Jordan, and Tyler Bate’s appearance on the latest edition of Noam Dar’s “Supernova Sessions.”

Dragunov has seemingly struggled to control his emotions ever since narrowly coming up short in a harrowing NXT Championship Match against WALTER. While Dragunov has continued to win matches, he often becomes blind with rage and subsequently brutalizes his opponents.

Gradwell has picked up on this trend, as well, and the antagonistic Superstar has seized every opportunity to provoke the unhinged Dragunov, particularly during The Mad Russian’s one-on-one clash with Tyson T-Bone, which saw Gradwell repeatedly belittle his newfound rival from ringside.

What will happen now that the two brawlers are finally set to collide?

Don’t miss a must-see edition of NXT UK, streaming today at 3 ET/8 GMT on the award-winning WWE Network!
