There have been some rumors floating around on social media today, indicating that Randy Orton is “retiring” and has been “released from WWE”. To add fuel to those rumors, RF Video’s Rob Feinstein claims that a “really big” top WWE Superstar has been released. These reports are all reportedly false and there is no indication that Orton is leaving WWE.
Many of the rumors began when Orton’s WWE.com profile was made “inactive” on Friday afternoon, leading many to believe he had been released with several other WWE Superstars today. The profile has now been restored so it appears it was nothing more than a technical glitch.
Also, the profiles of all of the WWE Superstars who were released on Friday have been moved to the alumni section of WWE.com.
