WWE’s relationship with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia may be controversial, but it has proven to be incredibly lucrative for the promotion.
The decade-long deal began in 2018 as part of Saudi Arabia’s ‘Saudi Vision 2030,’ the country’s social and economic reform program.
Wrestlenomics calculated that WWE’s deal with Saudi Arabia so far has earned the promotion $400 million, close to double all WrestleMania ticket sales when adjusted to inflation.
Thru 8 events in Saudi Arabia, WWE has nearly made 2x as much revenue as they've generated from every Wrestlemania ticket ever.

The deal has earned backlash from fans given Saudi Arabia’s restrictive laws regarding women and LGBTQ+ people.
WWE’s most recent Saudi Arabia event was last weekend’s Crown Jewel show, which saw Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns retain against Logan Paul in the main event.
