Sean Waltman Claims Vince McMahon Fired Someone for Mentioning his Name During the WWE Hall of Fame

According to Sean “X-Pac” Waltman, Vince McMahon was “furious” that his name was mentioned during Bret “The Hitman” Hart’s WWE Hall of Fame speech. He claimed that the “writer” who was assigned to the segment was actually fired.

During his X-Pac 12360 podcast, he said that McMahon was livid about his name being mentioned. He said, “Earlier on, and I’m not sure whether it was during Bret’s segment, but I think Bret mentioned Vince a bunch of times. And Vince got really hot and I think someone might have gotten fired. And then we said it like, a million times and no one got fired.

I’m not kidding. Vince was pissed. And I get it, I understand. That’s a thing for him. And like, it’s his company, and people go out there and they do that.”

Take this for what it’s worth given Sean’s “state of mind” during WrestleMania 35 weekend. There are reports that he “was a mess” during the entire weekend. Anyways, you can check out some audio from the segment below:
