There was a big angle that took place on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Sioux Falls, SD at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. At the beginning of the show, there was a segment with SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens. After the two men exchanged heated words, McMahon attacked the former WWE Universal Champion.
SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan later announced on the show that he was informed by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon that Shane had been suspended indefinitely. McMahon and Bryan left the ring to close the segment.
Keep in mind that this is just a storyline and McMahon is not actually suspended. There has been rumors that WWE may be setting up a match between McMahon and Owens at the Hell in a Cell PPV next month or the Survivor Series PPV in November.
