Following Wednesday night’s AEW Dynamite TV tapings at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, FL, the following matches were taped for this Friday night’s episode of Rampage:
* Darby Allin defeated Anthony Bowens by pinfall. As usual, Max Caster performed his rap as The Acclaimed came to the ring. Sting was at ringside with Allin. Following the match, Andrade El Idolo came out and distracted Allin, which allowed The Acclaimed to leave Allin laying.
* Anna Jay and Tay Conti defeated The Bunny and Penelope Ford in a Street Fight. This was said to have been a brutal war and featured barbed wire, tables, ladders, thumbtacks, chairs, and more. The match featured a ton of blood as well. At the end of the match, Ford was the only one who didn’t have her face covered in blood. The finish came when The Bunny tapped out to Jay. The crowd loved this.
* AEW TNT Champion Cody Rhodes defeated Ethan Page to retain his title. Rhodes was much more over than he was for last week’s title win in Greensboro, NC. The fans were booing Ethan Page big time as you’d expect. Arn Anderson was in the corner of Rhodes, while Dan Lambert and Scorpio Sky were with Page.
