During Saturday’s AEW Worlds End 2023 pay-per-view event, “Timeless” Toni Storm defeated Riho to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship.
Riho found her way back into the match after Luther was ejected from ringside.
However, Riho’s momentum didn’t last long as Storm fired back with her signature DDT for the pin to retain the AEW Women’s World Title.
Following the match, Mariah May came out to the ring and showered her idol with rose petals.
