Drew McIntyre appeared on Monday’s episode of RAW to cut an emotional promo as he continues his feud with Seth Rollins.

Taking to “Busted Open Radio,” Tommy Dreamer shared his reaction to McIntyre’s promo and why it rings true to him.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On McIntyre’s promo ringing true to him: “I had missed so many family events, and now my family is gone. Was it worth it? And then your family always tells you exactly what Drew said. ‘No, we understand. You have to do what you have to do.’ But then when you think back, [it’s] like — crap. I missed so much stuff, and now I can never get that back.”

On the promo helping elevate McIntyre’s character: “I don’t know if [McIntyre] is going to win the title [at Day 1]. If he doesn’t, he should totally snap. … If he wins, it’s then interesting because he’s now on top and … his regret is what he did to win the title, because now he’s alone. … You got what you wanted and you realize it’s not enough.”

Arguments in the appeal of a lawsuit filed by a fan against WWE over an injury suffered at WrestleMania 38 will be heard in February.

As you may recall, Marvin Jackson’s lawsuit over the injury he suffered due to pyrotechnics at the event was dismissed back in May, with the court agreeing to WWE’s motion that the case be moved to arbitration. Jackson had filed an appeal soon after, and Pwinsider reports that arguments for the appeal will be heard the week of February 5th, 2024.

Jackson alleged that he had lost hearing due to pyrotechnics at the PPV, where he was an “invitee.” WWE had argued that fans had to check boxes before buying tickets online agreeing to the terms and provisions which included agreements to enter arbitration over legal issues. While Jackson maintained he had never agreed to the terms and conditions requiring arbitration by WWE as he was not the purchaser of the tickets to the event, the court agreed with WWE on the issue and dismissed the suit with prejudice, which meant it cannot be re-filed in the same court.

Jackson had requested a jury trial and was seeking more than $1 million including damages of any kind, penalties, costs, expenses, prejudgment interest, and attorney’s fees.
