Multiple sources suggest that Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar, tied 1-1, will meet again at SummerSlam 2023, and with the feud heating up more and more despite Lesnar’s absence, thanks to The American Nightmare’s bold promos, speculation has been rampant among fans in regard to what kind of special stipulation may be in place for ‘Rhodes vs. Lesnar III.’
Speaking on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted that according to several sources, there will indeed by a stipulation for the highly anticipated match, and it is slated to be something “we have not seen in a while.” He said,
“I have been told that it is gonna’ be something. It’s not just gonna be a straight match. They’ve got some sort of stip that allegedly we have not seen in a while and that means not Hell in a Cell.
“So I wonder what stip they might be coming up with for the third match between these two. [Laughs] I hope it’s not ring of fire.”
Based on the direction of the feud, an ‘I Quit’ match may be a feasible choice to finally put this thing to bed.
