A few weeks ago, it was reported than two of the hottest stars in independent wrestling would be coming to WWE, however, that may not be the case any longer. As it turns out, PW Insider reported that sources informed them that the two men are under contract with Lucha Underground on the El Ray Network until at least 2020.

It is also worth noting that both men have non-compete clauses in their contracts so even in the off chance that Lucha Underground gets cancelled, it would still be a long wait for NXT.

If that wasn’t enough evidence, the two announced that they have accepted a “series of dates” in 2019 as a tag team. We will have to wait and see if WWE tries to sign them again once 2020 arrives.

After the Hell In A Cell PPV, Mark Henry announced the need to talk about the show and was gladly given the opportunity to do so from Busted Open Radio. During the podcast, he praised the show in its entirety and especially Randy Orton, claiming that Orton deserves another run for the World Title.

“I told you Randy Orton is one of my top favorite wrestlers of all-time, and that he’s one of the most underrated guys of all time. His accolades speak for himself, his talent speaks for himself. Randy’s getting meaner and more vicious. He started off very smooth and fluid, and usually guys like him don’t rise to the level of excellence that he’s rose to. But he’s been able to do that. I’m looking forward to seeing him get his just due. Randy needs to be in that conversation for Universal Champion-type roles. He’s that good.”
