Following this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite in Long Island, New York, the “hometown hero” MJF came out and cut a promo.
After the AEW Dynamite and Rampage TV tapings, AEW President Tony Khan came out to thank the crowd for sticking around for the long TV taping. He then introduced MJF, who came out to the ring using Billy Joel’s “My Life” song.
A partial video of MJF’s promo has been posted online. In it, he praised Long Island and called Tony Khan his “best friend.” He also told Khan that he will have to put up a lot of money to keep him in 2024 when his contract expires. He then took some shots at CM Punk, saying he “f**king sucks” and so does the city of Chicago, IL. MJF then went on to call Long Island the “most magical place in the world” and noted that he had dreams of doing this and blasted all of his doubters.
