Pwinsider.com reported today that WWE started making staff cuts on Tuesday with people being let go across departments.
Per the report, staff members of WWE’s digital department including the WWE Network were hit “extremely hard by these cuts.”
Jaylar Donlan, who previously served as WWE EVP of Advanced Media Group, is gone. Donlan had been with WWE for over eight years.
Many others were fired from the company today and multiple staffers who survived the cuts expressed both “shock and surprise” at some of the names who are being let go. There is talk that certain departments might be folded together moving forward.
