Here are the latest updates from WWE’s inactive list:
Former NXT champion Tommaso Ciampa has been out with a neck injury that forced him to undergo surgery earlier this year.
At last Tuesday night’s TV tapings, Peyton Royce’s name came up on the “inactive” list. Of course, she was booked to wrestle at Saturday night’s Smackville show. She is also set for tomorrow night’s SmackDown! Live event so the injury doesn’t appear to be a serious one.
Ricochet was dealing with an elbow infection last week. This forced last-minute changes to the Raw Reunion show. As previously reported here on eWn, Seth Rollins was booked in Ricochet’s place for a match with AJ Styles involving The O.C., DX, and the nWo. As of now, Ricochet’s injury has “TBD” listed, and there are no additional details yet.
Ruby Riott recently had to undergo shoulder surgery. According to WWE’s internal list of injuries, she won’t be back until around the Royal Rumble pay-per-view event.
