The WWE roster are still coming to terms with Vince McMahon’s retirement, according to Rey Mysterio.
McMahon retired last month amid allegations of misconduct with female employees and reported millions of dollars paid out in NDAs.
Speaking to the media at the 2022 Leagues Cup Showcase, Rey said how it has taken some getting used to.
“None of us expected it. We still are in denial that he’s no longer there, but it is reality and we have to accept it. So we move on, we keep the show up and running.”
In McMahon’s place, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan have been appointed co-CEOs of WWE, while Triple H is now Head of Creative.
