Here are the results for episode of WWE SmackDown airing on January 12, 2024.
We are meant to get Grayson Waller against Cameron Grimes, but The Bloodline takes out Grimes before he can make it to the ring. Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa take the ring from Waller and Theory without any fight. Heyman says they aren’t the bad guys, because Nick Aldis put Roman Reigns in a fatal four way at the Royal Rumble. The bad guy in this situation is the General Manager, Nick Aldis.
Speaking of which, Aldis takes the microphone from him. He says the fatal four way match is a done deal. There will be no more matches spoiled by The Bloodline. He tells Jimmy and Solo that they are in the main event. It will be Randy Orton, AJ Styles, and LA Knight, against Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Roman Reigns. Heyman tells Aldis that Reigns is not here. Ok, so The Bloodline have until the main event to find a replacement, otherwise it will be a handicap match.
#1. Angel & Humberto (w/ Santos Escobar) vs. LWO’s Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde – Winners: Angel & Humberto after Carlito accidentally distracted the LWO by attacking Santos
Carmelo Hayes talks to Nick Aldis about entering the Royal Rumble. Grayson Waller and Austin Theory interrupt them, so they get talked in to having a match between Hayes and Theory later tonight.
Paul Heyman tries to persuade Carlito to join The Bloodline in the main event tonight, but Carlito is only concerned with getting a match with Santos Escobar.
Logan Paul wants to challenge Kevin Owens to a clean fight, after what he did to his eye.
While out for a drink, Butch and Tyler Bate talk about their future. Bate says they have an opportunity to show the world what British Strong Style is all about, but what name is he going to use? Butch does not answer. Could he be going back to his original name?
#2. Bianca Belair vs. Bayley (w/ Damage CTRL) – Winner: Bianca Belair
Kevin Owens invites Logan Paul to the KO Show to discuss their differences.
Dakota Kai tells Bayley that Damage CTRL did not want to risk a DQ, and they wanted Bayley to learn to win on her own. Bayley says they are stronger when they work together. Kai says it is in the past now, so she should focus on winning the Royal Rumble.
Bobby Lashley and Street Profits make their way to the ring. He says that when they have an issue, they settle it face to face. They walk to the ring and get ready to fight. So Karrion Kross and his boys, if they have an issue, they can come down and settle it right now. Paul Ellering appears to point to the titantron. A video package sees Karrion Kross introduce the Authors Of Pain and Paul Ellering. He calls their group Final Testament.
Meanwhile, Pretty Deadly question Paul Heyman about the main event tonight, but they quickly backtrack after finding out who the opponents are.
#3. Carmelo Hayes vs. Austin Theory (w/ Grayson Waller) – Winner: No Contest
After a high risk move that saw Hayes and Theory land dangerously, the referee threw up the “X” sign and ended the match.
Paul Heyman tells Jimmy and Solo that no one was worthy of joining The Bloodline tonight, so they will have to deal with this. Sikoa isn’t worried. Jimmy is clearly worried, but puts on a brave front. Before the main event, The Bloodline attack Randy Orton during his entrance.
