At Thursday night’s WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, NV, Rhea Ripley addressed the crowd.
Ripley, who will be defending her WWE Women’s World Championship against Nia Jax at the 2024 WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event, revealed that she’ll defeat Jax and go into WrestleMania 40 as champion.
Becky Lynch came out and went back-and-forth with Ripley, telling her that instead of “Mami” always being on top – she’ll make her learn what it’s like to “be a bottom.” She stated,
“It doesn’t matter who you face because Mami’s always on top, huh? It does matter Rhea. It does matter who you face. I have made a legendary career out of knocking golden girls out of their top spot. So Mami is gonna learn what it’s like to be a bottom because that’s what happens when The Man comes around.”
Becky Lynch has already qualified for the 2024 women’s WWE Elimination Chamber match.
